more. I'd rather they stop shooting rockets into civilian areas. The retaliation it brings is devastating. They are being squeezed as a direct result of the fighting they have engaged in. Suicide bombings were the reasons for the separation wall. The Israelis are certainly not innocent in this. I agree that the settlements have to go. I'd like to see a land-for-peace deal happen. In return for the arrest of Hamas leaders and the promise of no more fighting, maybe the Palestinians get back maybe 45-55% of the land mass.
This kind of deal is what stopped the Egyptians and Israelis from fighting, and why the Sinai is in Egyptian hands. Its a good deal. That is, unless the radicals keep to their charters and continue to fight for the destruction of the Israeli state.
