I was a child immigrant from Europe back in the 50's and am confused about the current process.
Citizens in their countries used to be able to walk into any US embassy and request asylum from
fear and persecution. The embassy could approve or deny an entrance visa. If they are going to
set up new offices for this then why does the US need an embassy ? Have the embassies been
turning these children away from valid asylum requests ? How does the Honduran Govt. see this
seemingly recruitment of children inside their borders ? There is already rumbling in the media
that this is akin to child trafficking.

I won't even make any references as to why no special refugee screening for the refugees in Iraq,
Syria, Gaza and so many other countries where strife is creating oceans of refugees ?
