and would like to take the time to give an adequate one in return. Unfortunately I don't have much time today, but perhaps later. I would come back with the argument that union lawyers write much of the Law Enforcement Officers' Bill of Rights, that it's a lengthy process without a lot of transparency, that the decision can rest with a three-member panel, one chosen by the police chief, one by the accused officer, and the third by the police chief and the accused officer, etc., but this takes some research.
