It seems that today many people are unable (or unwilling) to understand how the Holocaust seared into the fiber or all Israelis an absolute unshakable determination to never again permit themselves to become passive victims, be it at the hands of Nazis or of those of their Arab "neighbors". There will be no more Masadas. Israel will not go quietly into another dark night, whether others approve or not.
