18. Bundy Is In Insurrection Against the United States

1th. When he leaves his compound, why hasn't he been arrested?

2th. The way to deal with insurrection is the following. All law enforcement personnel withdraw. The regular armed forces of the United States surround his yuck hole. Armed forces should be equipped for desert operations, with armored fighting vehicles, artillery and air support. All utilities from the outside are cut off. All communications with the outside are cut off. An officer goes in with a flag of truce. He informs the insurrectionists that they are to come out with their hands up, unarmed, and they will receive decent treatment. If they do not, "Then we will come in. We will not come in behind pepper spray and tear gas, we will come in behind artillery barrages and air strike."

If Bundy does not surrender, the military goes in. Anyone with a gun in their hand is taken as an insurrectionist, tried for sedition and hanged if convicted. Anyone attempting to aid them is put down by force, tried and hanged. The authority of the US government is at stake. If a yuck like Bundy is allowed to do it, others will try.
