none of the gerrymandered districts has had a better than 50% turn-out of registered voters (since 2010) and more importantly, none of these districts has had a 30% turn-out of eligible voters. {I don't recall where I saw these figures, but they have stuck with me}
So a strong GOTV in these districts are likely to negate the gerrymandering effect.
