And there is evidence that the Universe runs without a controlling intelligence.
Do you need faith to not believe in elves or bigfoot or alien visitors, or does the absence of any evidence lead you to not believe?
With no facts showing their aren't any invisible pink unicorns, should we say that they might exists?
Why does the Superior Being theory have any validity? Because some people believe? People believe in lots of things that aren't real.
