38. One thing that amazes me about President Obama's press conferences is how he takes . . .

. . . a subject -- like immigration reform -- that the mainstream media has almost convincingly perpetrated in to a seemingly complex subject too hard for ordinary people to understand all of the intricate details involved with it, and then boils it down to an 8th grader's level, clear to the point that even journalists like Brian Williams can understand what he is talking about.

I think that is the main reason why Obama is more popular today amongst most rational, moderates than Bush was, especially at this point in his 2nd term of office.
That was mostly because Bush was so full of himself, like when he did the "I've got (political) capitol, and I intend to spend it" speech right after the fraudulent 2004 election.

Phony baloney bravado like that, plus the fact that Bush could never talk in public "off the cuff" with reporters with ease, like Obama does all of the time, without totally looking like a jackass, embarrassing those moderates who may have voted for Bush, caused Bush's favorability numbers to plummet like a falling star during his 2nd term in the White House.
