(32,886 posts)40. Idiot-boy's war crime made it our responsibility. We screwed that country.
ISIS and the crimes they are committing would not be happening without the US's 2003 invasion.
We can stay out of a lot of things regarding Iraq, including a generalized civil war and degeneration into a failed state, but not a genocide in the making that is our fault.
