(9,126 posts)19. Driving on the Autobahn is a real pleasure
because people on it know the rules: pass on the left and then pull over to the right lane. If you're in the left lane and a car is coming up fast, they will flash their lights and that means pull the hell over. If it's a Mercedes, BMW or sportscar, pull over just coz because likely they're hauling ass. I've driven up to 175mph on the autobahn and felt safer than going sixty on a five lane freeway. If you crash you die, but there is a lot more discipline.
