39. Maybe we need to wake up to the fact that we need to help ourselves.

First by tearing down the ridiculous system that pits people against greed and then by developing self sufficient ways of taking care of one another. There are a lot of very angry people posting their feelings on the Save Market Basket fb page. A lot of it is misdirected at politicians, and yet, this crisis has revealed to me that every politician is on the side of whoever or whatever will benefit him or her.

We're on our own....but the workers and customers have proven that they are brave enough to stand together, walk through the fear, financial and otherwise, and confront a wrong doing. Because they did it together from top management to bagger; full time workers to part-timers. What an enlightenment. It hasn't been pretty, but it sure is beautiful!
