Where are the LONG TERM JOBS WITH ADVANCEMENT POTENTIAL WITH BENEFITS AND JOB SECURITY???

We could make benefits less important by implementing a single payer health care system and building a more robust and generous social safety net, but what we really need right now are better jobs, a doubling (at least) of the minimum wage, and public works if the market can't provide these, even if it means taxing the wealthiest 1% at rates approaching 90%.

If the leaders of industry and commerce with multi-million dollar incomes are not creating good jobs, why should they be rewarded? The government ought to maintain a monetary system for the benefit of all, not just a small ruling class...

And yes, Ronald Reagan was a major symptom of the fatal illness that is killing the U.S.A.
