21. The problem is not the "democrats" it is the country at large

I have really come to the strong belief that the pols are who they are ... Either way.

The problem is US, collectively.

We don't give a shit to actually pay attention, much less make sober, common sense decisions in the voting booth.

Republicans have been pulling the same shit for my entire life, going on 50 years.

But, they not only are never held accountable, exponentially over recent history, they have an increasingly STRONGER hold on the discussion and views of the people of this country.

Absolutely, democrats are spineless cowards. And, MAYBE if they actually got in the game and fought, it would be somewhat different.

But, end of the day, we the people gobble up republican bullshit, we happily elect/re-elect them no matter what crazy ass shit they say or do, no matter how much they fuck things up, and we punish people like Howard Dean for saying and doing the right things.

We are getting what we want, frankly.
