The Democratic Party Machine has made it crystal clear that they don't want or need the left. They've choosen to woo those Republicans that don't want to be with the clowns. It's a great strategy. For every conservative vote the Democrats steal from the Republicans counts double. For example, if the vote count is 100 to 100 and the Demos get one conservative to switch, the vote would be 101 - 99 and if that pisses off a lefty and he/she doesn't vote then the vote would still be 100 - 99. Therefore, getting conservatives to vote Democratic is twice and valuable as getting the left. Besides, statistics show that 60% of those pissed off lefties will vote Democratic anywayz.

The Democratic Party Machine has abandoned the left.
