I said I have witnessed many instances of anti-semitism and they were all independent of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
I grew up in the exurban south. I have met people who literally believed Jews had horns. They never heard of the I/P conflict nor was at the forefront of discussion when they held these beliefs.
