The San Rafael Police Department has launched a 90-day pilot program to equip officers with body-worn cameras, becoming the second Marin police agency to use the technology.
Lt. Jim Correa, who is heading up the project, said the department is using four cameras during the trial period. The pager-sized cameras, manufactured by Seattle-based VIEVU LLC, record both video and audio.
