They honestly do not even know it at this point, either. They just have such an extraordinarily deluded sense of self righteousness they truly believe they are more patriotic/special and that is the end of it.

Some jackass at the Y, I spent years, literally, trying to talk politics to him. He was always wearing these hate on Obama t-shirts, and just is an all in teabagging, conservative type guy.

No matter the substance of what I said, I was always just the liberal Rush told him about.

He is the resolute no depending on government guy and I was the bilking off the government lib.

Meanwhile, his wife is a public school teacher and he proudly noted that he did not take his company's health coverage because his wifes was better, so my tax dollars DIRECTLY pay half his families income and their health coverage. AND, his job - selling textbooks, so his income is garnered from ... tax dollars.
