It may be his basic training uniform. My point is that he was in the military unlike the coward Ted Nugent who constantly refers to Jimi in the negative. After completing basic training, he was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This is where he met Billy Cox and spent a lot of time in Nashville Tennessee.
