189. I'm not going to delete this, but I am disengaging from this thread

. . . I spent several hours talking about this last night, very late into the early morning, here with my wife; and then with my two sons who came upstairs to share their own anguish with us over the images they'd seen from Ferguson.

I'm going to continue to read without responding, with respect and understanding for even the differences with my own view - expressed in the op in such a simple set of sentences - with an appreciation for the opportunity to discuss these things publicly and with such a knowledgeable and diverse community of opinion.

Thank you for the discussions.
