Earlier someone posted a link to news from 2009 when the Ferguson police arrested a guy who shared a similar name to someone that'd committed a crime and immediately released him...

LOL no they didn't. After finding out they had the wrong guy, they proceeded to beat the shit out of him and charge him with destruction of property... by getting his blood on their uniforms as they beat the shit out of him. Saw the picture of his head, yeah he was a bloody mess. That tends to happen when someone beats the shit out of you. In court, they were asked if any blood got on them and they said no. Then they were shown the police reports they signed saying he was charged with destruction of property for getting blood on their uniforms. Awkward.
