I think the person she hits preferred the lesson she gave to that one. Sexual battery would be a terrible thing to have on your record. If OP got the message across and the guy she hit doesnt do it again, she did a real service to him and to the community.
I completely get that you are anti-violence and I appreciate that aspect of your response. But I think this is one of the better of the options she could have chosen.
