with people are nothing more that PR attempts so people will say, "See. There are good policemen." They wouldn't need those photos if they were actually "good". I'm just an average looking guy. But every time I've ever spoken to a police officer, just to say hello or have small talk, while they're standing around during an event or just hanging on the corner they always, and I mean "always", have a power trip attitude and a holier than thou vibe surrounding every molecule of their being. They will joke with each other but to have a private citizen look at them to say hello, joke or be friendly they look like they're looking you over as if you're a suspicious bank robber type or drug dealer. I'm not a paranoid person and have no feelings like that with anyone else but police. I've never been arrested, in jail or trouble. But damn they sure make me feel like I've done something wrong.

They have done heroic things and died in the line of duty but dammit not everyone is a damn criminal.
