... of a defendant with a sack over his head? What's the judge going to say to the jury?
"Jury, even though this defendant has guilt written all over his face, I want you to refrain from rushing to that judgement. No, on the contrary, I want you to totally disregard what you see."
They would never be able to seat a jury, because NO ONE would be able to disregard that animal's mug.

OR, he could just ask the jurors to wear sacks on their heads.
