The most recent FOX and CNN polls of the Democratic nomination has Clinton with 64% and 67% of support from Democrats - which indicates a huge majority support her. That's essentially a 30-point improvement over her 2006 numbers. In those numbers, as well, her lead over the other contenders was a distant 20 points. But now, her lead over Biden is 59 points. Warren 57 points. There is no relative comparison to those numbers and what she saw in 2006.
I've yet to see a poll from this election cycle that indicates Hillary's support is in trouble. If anything, it's the exact opposite of 2006 - as most, nearly 70%, of the party supports her candidacy. That wasn't even remotely the case in 2006. Her support then was the largest, to be sure, but tapped out well below 50%, which meant, as I said, a huge chunk of the party either supported someone else or weren't ready to support her.
