5. I barely remember Grenada, but I wonder what the message here was?

Was the image supposed to show us that Grenada was so minor, silly, brown and small that it didn't even warrant putting on shoes? I can't imagine being in the service at the time and seeing Grampy there send me off to war in his outhouse attire.
