And I'm not sure how that will work out
on the national stage....

Also don't know what that would do to
the conservative base, in terms of the
fact that leaves no Protestant on the ticket.

But yeah......she certainly could help him some....
but keep in mind that Hispanics or women don't vote
for a candidate just because he/she represents them
via race or gender. Remember that Barack Obama was
not the first Black candidate for President....and many Blacks
did not vote for Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton during the primaries
that both ran in. In addition, many women did not vote for
Sarah Palin. So I think, at the end of the day, policies matter
much more than gender/race identification.
