95. Is it 13 years......or more......

I think it's getting close to time....

Doing the Same thing Over and Over and getting the Same Results?

It's a tough one...when one really thinks about it...

Dark Days...."What's it All For?" The Activism...signing the Petitions and We DU'ers Out in the Streets...(Many of us, particularly the early ones, did huge activism. Contrary to common Opinion these days on DU) Got involved with our Local Govt....built the Netroots for Dems....had GOOD STUFF going in those early days of the Internet...we were Rocking and Rolling...... We made a difference...we turned the wheel a few notches.

We did GOOD STUFF....we still do good stuff ...although it's not as visible...not as defining...because it doesn't please the PTB...

But, there's always going to be attrition when folks feel "knocking head against Brick Wall" didn't do it...and "Its Time to Have a Life Outside This...."

Still there is the "Hotel California Syndrome" that keeps some of us here...and Hope....and for others it has become a comfortable "Old Shoe." It's past it's prime and worn and ugly...but when you put it on.. it fits your foot in the right places....to casually walk around in...but, you can't go far in it and you wouldn't want to be seen outside the house in it. But...it has memories and is comfortable. So....one will never discard it..but eventually it will get pushed to the back of the closet for your relatives or kids to clean out when you've taken your last breath.

It's a choice....... 13 Plus years .....that's a chunk of life that doesn't come easy to let go. Too many memories....too many hopes. For Some.
