20. It is partisanship at the core

I was a young adult during the Clinton presidency and was just flummoxed at how much people around me hated him, how absurd it was for republicans in congress to do all that they did to him and, out of naivety mystified at how the press let republicans spew utter bullshit unchecked.

The spent millions of dollars with investigation after investigation of the man, they accused him of being a drug dealer and having Vince Foster killed ... They were downright mean and hateful toward not only Hillary, but poor Chelsea.

It is worse now, and they absolutely race bait with what they do toward BHO. But, they eviscerated Al Gore, Howard Dean and John Kerry just the same. And, if it was President Clinton right now, it would not be race baiting but shit about women.

They just grab whatever they can get their hands on and scream. And, yes, modern communication and technology amp it up to a whole higher level.
