i've worked in a market research call center for six years and know what a shit job it can be, especially when a pile of shit push poll is dropped in your lap. that said, you were still giving her a hard time. the longer you're on the phone with them by explaining every answer, the fewer calls she can make, the fewer surveys she can get completed, the less she is likely to get paid. there was no need to lecture someone making probably not much more than minimum wage.
