46. my wonderful story about firefighters

my mom had a stroke while driving home from the grocery store. They took her to the hospital, found her address in her purse in the car, drove her car to her house, used her keys and took her groceries in the house and put what needed to be refrigerated in the fridge. Then they left her car and took her purse and keys to her in the hospital.

We arranged to meet them all to thank them. They were so grateful they took us on a ride in a fire engine (my 5 year old grandson was with us but we all loved it.)

We sure and make a small effort to thank them. They said it hardly every happens and invited the brass and their friends to the meeting. Sweet.
