(3,732 posts)Billionaire challenges the Pope's Infallible Sacred Authority? There are some things good Catholics just don't do! You don't tell the Pope the Earth is moving around the sun when the Pope says the Earth is the center of the universe, you don't say that the Church is ready for female priests, and you don't challenge the Pope when he follow the example of Jesus and pass around the bread and fishes!
A. The Pope isn't fallible. He hasn't been since 1870.

B. Threatening to pull charitable donations is the same thing as saying those donations were a bribe in the first place and the Church is a corrupt institution, there to do the bidding of the rich elite just like, say, the American Congress.
In this smackdown, the Pope is so going to win.
And when we say ooooooooooh, burn! It actually does mean burn in Hell!
