1. It's worse than not having money for healthier food.

I have done this thing where I would buy better food sometimes it was even cheaper to do so. If you eat a lot of beans, rice, eggs, produce, etc... it can be okay on the budget. But, those foods take a long time to prepare, still solutions to that problem can be found like having a slow cooker, prepping things on the weekend for the whole week, and getting the youngins to help. However, these foods are also a lot heavier, I literally could not carry all the food my family needed without making several trips a week to the grocery store it was actually almost everyday I would have to go, by bus and then walk a few blocks home. It really wasn't something that I could deal with after two hours of commuting and an 8 hour shift.
