NATO and South Korea [View all]

Last edited Wed Sep 3, 2014, 09:09 AM - Edit history (1)

I have recently seen a map being posted of South Korea with the claim that a NATO base is located in the country. That is NOT true.

The United States has military bases in South Korea to defend the country primarily against North Korea. If anyone disagrees that Kim Jong Un and North Korea is not a threat to South Korea, please feel free to try to convince me of that.

Yes, the US is a NATO member. The bases have nothing to do with NATO and nothing to do with Russia as some are trying to dupe you into believing.
