I do think her absence is ... notable. Not quite a WTF moment, but enough to ask WHY?

It's not like Kissinger favored diplomacy over the occasional nice, charming, simmering little beat-down by proxy, but he girded his loins and showed up anyway.

And it's not like she doesn't know how to pick up a shovel. She managed to shovel over the traces and hide the truth for a good long time working for Porgie!
