(11,417 posts)52. I'm in Santa Barbara and the local high school
near where I work has no dress code. Kids where short shorts to school and so far the sky isn't falling.
I think a lot has to do with local feeling but for sure there is no uniform outcome that will happen of our feelings about dress are not the same as some other place.
