Confronting it and getting past it. So many never do. Let's all be conscious of it. Let's all do what we can to help.
I know that in my own life, I'm much more aware of this kind of thing than maybe I was previously. Not because I didn't want to know, but because it just was so painful to try and understand.
We owe it to ourselves, if possible, to try and understand it. And get to know people like the ones you mention, all of whom can enrich our lives.
