5. I've never met any RW people in the French Quarter.

Most people who live there are pretty laid-back, and a lot of them are gay. It's definitely not a conservative area. The whole city of New Orleans is considered to be liberal; they consistently vote Democratic. The conservatives are mostly in the suburbs, like Metairie and Kenner.

I can't imagine why they said it was for the conservatives in the French Quarter. That's like saying a station is for the conservatives in West Hollywood. I guess some people think that all of New Orleans is the FQ, instead of just a part of the city.
