Florida fisherman reels in massive shrimp
There's nothing shrimpy about this shrimp.

If it actually is a shrimp, that is. This creature was caught off a dock in Fort Pierce and officials with Florida Fish and Wildlife still aren't exactly sure what it is.

Steve Bargeron saw a fellow fisherman pull the crustacean in and snapped the photographs, according to FWC. He described it as being 18 inches long and biting its own tail, so he held it on its back like a lobster before releasing it.

FWC officials are still working to determine what it may be; at this point they believe it may be a mantis shrimp, which despite what its name may suggest is actually a stomapod and not a shrimp at all
