i think he's spot-on with this. the political issue with the SPD actions, especially Darren Scott's, have been destructive to the community and David is pointing a way to heal that. and, from what i've heard of Scott's interviews since this happened, i bet he agrees. there's been a timidity in his approach that suggests he gave into political pressure. that's just my observation based on his interview performance, but it's been shaky at best - like he doesn't believe the messages he's had to carry to the media.
