58. I wonder why they didn't just do a "rolling blackout" on the course?

It takes a little more work but it can be done. First you run background checks on everyone scheduled to play. They get metal detected/screened as they arrive. A few may be told that their tee times are pushed back a bit--not cancelled, pushed back.

Then you hold everyone until Obama and crew have cleared the fourth hole. Then you let foursomes out, one at a time, on a very slow, staggered basis well behind him. You let them know that they need to take their time. He has security bringing up the rear anyway, so you have another set between his people behind him and the players behind him who are providing a rolling phalanx as he progresses through the course. They can, of course, hold anyone back who is playing too fast.

They put security all over the courses anyway when he plays --they'd just have a bit more work to do. They're really in need of acquitting themselves well anyway, given their hi-jinks, unprofessional conduct and drunken missteps in the past few years.
