18. Many, many treaties have been broken by nations over the years including the U.S.

NATO was created at the height of the cold war where it was possible the U.S. and Russia would go to war with each other. The U.S. is not going to risk a nuclear war over the Baltic states. Are you willing to sacrifice 150 million Americans to protect Estonia? I know Obama is not willing to do that. Or the UK or France or anyone else.

Every nation follows that philosophy whether they admit it or not.
