I guess they're just spending less time on it.
I was thinking about the changes to hosting, that seems to have been done with care but you're right, and they don't respond to ATA questions with any regularity.
OTOH, do you remember that scoring system with the colored buttons? That was just silly, but could be an example of a failed idea.
Then there's Discussionist.

Agree and it is incomprehensible to me that admins still deny a problem with alert stalking as well
