Your entire premise is built on the LIE that "the left"/"progressives" are unreliable votes for the Democratic party. You then used that false premise to justify the party's continued movement to "alter policies to gain voters from the right". I certainly call that advocating, even though the justification is built on a knowingly false premise, but perhaps you are merely condoning it. Ugh.
So again, maybe you want to look at the actual voting patterns from 2010 and 2012. Then again, you either already know those facts and continue to spin your false narrative or you are choosing to remain ignorant.
