Stymied?? He appointed nothing but conservatives. He embraces conservatives. He kept many of the Bush appointees.

Which of the following Pres Obama appointees is not a conservative: Tim Geitner, Lawrence Summers, Ben Bernanke, William M. Daley, Jeff Immelt, Dave Cote, Jeb Bush, Robert Gates, Gen Stanley McChrystal, Jacob Lew, Jeremiah Norton, Gen Petraeus, John Brennen, Chuck Hegal, Michael Taylor, James Comey, James R. Clapper, Robert Mueller, Michele Leonhart (DEA), Lois Lerner (IRS), Rahm Emanuel, Penny Pritzker????

He accepts the Patriot Act, Indefinite detention, illegal spying on American citizens, the environmental damage caused by fracking and the XL Pipeline, trade agreements that move jobs to Asia like the TPP. These are all conservative stands.
