46. If other female Ravens fans want to defend Rice
Fri Sep 12, 2014, 10:11 AM
Sep 2014

it's their business. If they want to keep wearing his jersey, it's their business. I liked Rice as a player. He did some incredible things while on the team, especially during their Super Bowl winning season. He was also very active in the community in Baltimore, a lot of which never made the news. I was disappointed when I heard about his hitting Janey and feel that Rice deserved to be cut by the team and suspended by the NFL. I have a generic Ravens t-shirt that I will continue to wear, having never owned a jersey of anyone on the team (I will admit that I'm tempted by Justin Tucker and Joe Flacco's however). I don't understand why some other women are not upset about Rice's actions. But I'm not giving up on either football in general and the Ravens in particular. Hopefully, we'll make the playoffs again this year - we have some great, young, talented players. And, oh yeah, we beat the Steelers last night 26-6.
