How did you turn Moore's comments into a quasi-defense of Obama in the face of Republican attempts to "wipe out the Obama presidency"? That wasn't it at all.

The statement Moore made to the Hollywood reporter (check the video http://www.mediaite.com/online/michael-moore-slams-obama-all-hell-be-remembered-for-is-first-black-president/) was that Obama "has been a huge disappointment. ... And somebody needs to say to him ... I'll say it to him: When the history is written of this era, this is how you’ll be remembered: ‘He was the first black president.’ Okay, not a bad accomplishment, but that’s it. That’s it, Mr. Obama. A hundred years from now, ‘he was the first black American that got elected president.’ And that’s it. Eight years of your life and that’s what people are got to remember. Boy, I got a feeling, know you, that you’d probably wish you were remembered for a few other things, a few other things you could’ve done.”

Now how in blazes do you turn that into anything but Moore's own assessment of how, based on his disappointment (not the Republicans' shenanigans), that all Obama will be remembered for is being black?

That just makes me sad. I really thought he'd gotten more sensible; but now, all I can see is that he wants to get his first-class ticket to Toronto and go back to saying stupid shit.
