other Politicians to make things happen. The President can use the Bully Pulpit to get us behind what he is doing, Obama did fail us on many issues and did the bidding of the 1%. The biggest tell was not going after the law breakers who caused the needless war in Iraq and the ones who crashed the economy. WTF! "Look forward, not back" is a rational response? He created, or at least openly continued to prove that there is a class of Americans above the law. I am sorry, but if a Democrat had lied us into war and allowed torture I would be screaming to prosecute them just as loudly. Where are the Republicans? For that matter, where are the politicians (other than a very small number) who should have been demanding prosecution for these blatant crimes?
Our country is corrupt to the very core and it all stems from campaign contributions. How idiotic can we be to allow legalized bribery of our politicians and then wonder why we cannot pass very common sense legislation that over 90% of Americans agree to (background checks on assault weapons). Wake up and quit bitching about the symptoms caused by this and help attack the real problem head on. It is a shame that Bernie is about the only politician to come out for publicly funded elections.
