In the 1980s, the government was getting enough quality volunteers that they could go to the courts and tell them, "those guys you're giving the choice of jail or the military? We don't want them." Then Bush launched Operation Iraqi Liberation, and all of a sudden they'd take any warm body who could pull a trigger. Remember a few months ago when the Army published its new uniform reg? The unstated motive is to kick out all the gangbangers Bush welcomed with open arms.

And that is how Track Palin, the worthless son of a worthless mother, became a vet. Under Reagan, Bush the Smarter or Clinton, Track Palin would have gone to prison where he still belongs.
