I was spanked in elementary level public schools by the principal. One of my adult rules I've followed 99% of the time is over the last 3-4 decades, "Never take a class under any circumstances whatsoever." I simply do not tolerate schools, I even get flashbacks if I have to walk onto a school campus to vote.
