15. Let's face it

The end of the Obama Adminstration is in sight, and many people here are getting itchy about who will replace him in the White House. That used to be the province of political junkies on Sunday talking heads shows, but it's filtered down to the masses, and we're all in suspense over who will be sworn in on January 20, 2017, which is less than two and a half years away. That's a really long time for kids, but for us grownups, it's just around the corner.

Yes, we will all fall in line behind whoever is opposing the GOPer, but we have to have this sort of cleansing process before we get there. While I hope for all the best in November of this year, I steel myself to the possible shutdown of the accomplishment of any progress for the next couple of years, to me that's the most likely scenario.
